The Religion and Public Life Project of the PEW Research Center determined in a 2014 report that Taiwan ranked “second in the world in the Religious Diversity Index, after Singapore.” Followers of Buddhism, Taoism, Islam, Christianity, and many other religions have all found a home on the island.
